About This Page

T in the snow report means Trace of snowfall.

Live temperature readings on this page come from two different sensors. The temperature shown at page top comes from Weather Underground station KMTBIGSK6, near the North Fork, at 1,200 feet above Big Sky. That station reports data from a Davis Vantage Pro 2 instrument. The temperature shown in the Big Sky Resort snow report comes from the Lobo station at 2,900 feet above Big Sky. This latter station is located at the top of the Swift Current chair lift. The weather forecast comes from Weather Underground, which uses various inputs to generate the forecast.
