This is a custom handcrafted home designed to provide the best vacation in one of the most dramatic settings in Big Sky. This gem in the wilderness is just a five–minute drive to the base of Lone Peak Mountain where you can catch the ski lift.

Wide Open Views in a Breathtaking Setting

Spectacular panoramic views are the home’s best feature. One looks onto Lone Peak Mountain and the surrounding Gallatin Range in each direction, giving a liberating feeling of space, nature and light.

Perched on 1.34 acres of pristine pine tree–laden land with endless views, Fox Run Lodge also borders 400 acres of Nature Conservancy property making it the perfect ski get–away in a private, residential gated community. In the summer, there is hiking right out the front door and world class fishing just minutes away.

About Fox Run Lodge

This mountain retreat is a sprawling 9,360 square foot home with five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, media room, den, office, gourmet kitchen, dining room, five fireplaces and a radiant heat system throughout.

The residence sleeps twelve (12) people maximum with three king beds, two bunk beds with queen sized bottoms and twin sized tops. This three–level home provides guests with enough space for privacy and opportunity to have fun on their own.

Soaring Timber Ambiance

Vacationers gravitate to the Great Room which features 30–foot ceilings with a Douglas–fir timber frame design offering stellar panoramic views, a double–sided wood–burning fireplace and a floor plan made for entertaining. After a day spent on the slopes, gather around these back–to–back fireplaces for après ski cheer.

The adjoining Observation Room features an all–glass rotunda with an outside deck with expansive views of Lone Peak Mountain and beyond. This is the go–to place in which to curl up in one of the four leather swivel chairs to read a book, enjoy a glass of wine, or simply watch the weather form and pass over the ski trails. Resort Amenities

At the end of the day, one might want to soothe their muscles in the sauna bath or enjoy a relaxing dip in the 12 person Jacuzzi that includes a waterfall and wall–mounted flat screen television. The indoor spa also has a ballet barre and an adjoining full bathroom with a shower and double sinks. After a long day on the slopes, this luxurious spa is just what is needed.

A Chef’s Delight

Enjoy whipping up a family meal in Fox Run Lodge’s state–of–the–art kitchen. It is loaded with stainless steel Thermador appliances for the gourmet cook. There is a six burner stove/oven, full refrigerator, full freezer, microwave, warming drawer, dishwasher and two sinks. The black granite center island seats four at the counter while a large breakfast nook offers a rustic kitchen table with six chairs. Just outside the kitchen is a deck that offers open air dining for ten with a gas bar–b–que and unrestricted views of the mountains.

The dining table seats 12 to 14 and offers dramatic views of the snow–covered sanctuary. There is a complete service for 12 by Villeroy & Boch.

Reading and Entertainment

There are two rooms to watch television. The main media room is located on the lower level and is ideal for children and teenagers. It features a home theater with an 80–inch flat screen television with DirecTV connection & a Blue–Ray player, and AppleTV, a wet bar with refrigerator and sink, and a temperature–controlled wine room. The home offers both wired broadband and Wi-Fi Internet access.

The upstairs den has an intimate library atmosphere with a wall–mounted flat screen television and a gas–fired fireplace.

A Place to Work

For those who may need quiet space to work or read, there is a private office upstairs with a separate entrance and staircase, flat–screen television, desk, wet bar with sink, refrigerator, coffee maker, fax machine/printer and spectacular views of Lone Peak Mountain as a back drop for inspiration. With fold–out bed and closet, this office can be used as an extra bedroom.


About the Master Suites

Fox Run Lodge offers two master suites. The first master bedroom has a sitting area with a gas fireplace and an outside terrace with a gas/wood burning fireplace and a sitting area where one can enjoy majestic alfresco views. The adjoining master bathroom has double sinks, a bathtub with Jacuzzi jets and a steam shower with multiple shower heads.

The other master suite has an outside deck with views of the Andesite and Flat Iron Mountains. It also offers a wet bar with sink, refrigerator, coffeemaker, desk and sitting area.

Share it With Family and Friends

There is also a guest room with a king bed and a door that opens to a patio with a sitting area to enjoy Lone Peak Mountain. In addition, there are two bunk bedrooms with upper twin beds and lower queen beds. Both of these rooms have their own private bathrooms and doors opening to the adjoining shared patio.

The home’s expansive indoor living spaces and outdoor areas beautifully accommodate a family reunion framed by the amazing 360–degree scenery. The interior décor echoes the glories of the natural surroundings of this mountain retreat.
