Fox Run Lodge provides easy access to the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park. A short drive away (20 minutes), the Gallatin River and Yellowstone River offer some of the world’s best fly fishing.

The area surrounding Big Sky has more blue–ribbon trout streams and lakes in an 80 miles radius than anywhere else in North America.

Gallatin National Forest offers hiking galore for all levels of hikers.  We can provide information on local hikes and can recommend guides for the area.

The budding Big Sky restaurant scene is constantly evolving. There are the old favorites such as Buck’s T-4, Lone Mountain Ranch, and By Word of Mouth, joined by newcomers like Lotus Pad, Choppers, and Olive B’s. Big Sky restaurants offer Italian, French, Chinese, Thai, and Mexican cuisine. There are also superb on–mountain dining venues.

If you are looking to dine on local Montana ingredients, Big Sky offers excellent restaurants featuring local game, fish, beef and bison.

Grab a packed lunch from the Galloping Gourmet or Hungry Moose Market in Big Sky village and drive 5 minutes to Ousel Falls for an easy hike to the waterfalls and afternoon picnic. Bring your camera because this is the perfect location for a family photo.
