Big Sky Resort trademarked The Biggest Skiing in America for good reason. Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin interconnect and offer more skiable terrain (5,800 acres) than any other ski area in America. The area offers more than 250 named ski runs.

Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin are now part of one vast resort which offers 20 ski lifts across three different areas (click to area maps) and 5 surface lifts with 4,350 vertical feet and runs up to 6 miles long.

Lone Peak summit elevation is 11,166 feet. From the top of Lone Peak Mountain you can see two national parks: Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Lone Peak Mountain receives an average of 400 inches of powder every winter.

Big Sky is consistently ranked in the top 10 best resorts in North America.  The London Sunday Times ranked Big Sky in the top 10 resorts in the world.
